Healthy bars for families on-the-go can be hard to find, but look no further! These bars are quick, easy and will provide you with clean energy for hours.
Time: 15 minutes
Serves: Approximately 10 bars
Ingredients:
- 1 c oats
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 c Maple syrup
- 1/2 c Peanut butter
- 1/2 c Slivered almonds
- 1/2 c Pecan pieces
- Any other desired ingredients! Think nuts, seeds, chocolate chips, etc.
Directions:
- Add ingredients to a bowl and mix. Option to microwave for 15-20 seconds to soften ingredients. Be sure to taste and add more of any certain ingredient that you desire!
- Line a baking pan with wax paper and fill with mixture.
- Freeze to set. After at least an hour remove from pan and cut into desired sized bars. Wrap individually and store in the refrigerator.
