All of the flavor of the coconut macaroons we know and love, without all of the sugar or chemical additives.
Time: 15 mins
Serves: 2-4 people
Ingredients:
- 2 c grated unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 c coconut oil, melted
- 5 Tbsp raw organic cacao powder
- 1/4 c organic grade B maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan pink sea salt
Directions:
- In a saucepan, melt coconut oil. Stir in all other ingredients until mixed well.
- Set aside for 15-20 minutes until mixture firms up. Then roll into shapes or balls. Keep refrigerated.
