Southern Pecan Pie

A go-to for family gatherings and holidays!

Time: 90 minutes

Serves: 6-7

Ingredients:

  • 1 c agave nectar
  • ½ c cane sugar or maple sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1-1/4 c pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Using a small mixing bowl, beat well the syrup, sugar, eggs, flour and salt. Stir in butter, vanilla and pecans.
  3. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  4. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until set. Cool thoroughly before serving.
