This hazelnut milk only lasts for a few days in the fridge… you can only imagine the nasty preservatives and emulsifiers in store bought almond milk that lasts for weeks!
Time: 15 minutes
Serves: Up to you!
Ingredients:
- 1 part raw hazelnuts, soaked in water overnight
- 2 parts filtered water (experiment with more or less water to desired consistency)
- Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 tsp raw honey
Directions:
Blend in blender (ideally Vitamix) and strain over colander or in cheese cloth. If using a Vitamix you may not have to strain as long as you are ok with a thicker consistency. If you love this recipe, check out our almond and cashew milk recipes!
