Sautéd Nuts and Seeds

Loaded with minerals, protein, healthy fats and vitamins, munch on these nuts and seeds for days!  Add to salads, eggs and anything dish that could use a little extra crunch.

Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 3-4


  • ¼ c raw pepita seeds
  • ¼ c raw sunflower seeds
  • ¼ c raw cashew bits
  • ¼ c raw almond bits
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp ghee, organic butter, nitrite free bacon grease OR coconut oil


  1. In medium pan, melt butter/oil on lowest temperature.
  2. Add all seeds and keeping the heat at simmer, slowly heat them tossing occasionally until they brown and begin to pop a little… keep an eye on them! They can go from toasted to burnt in seconds.
  3. Add seasonings.
  4. Transfer to paper towel and cool. When cooled add to air tight container and store in the fridge.
